Advance Social Care is dedicated to help address these challenges, promote resilience and ensure every UASC young person achieves their potential. Working with a wide range of services who understand the challenges and difficulties UASC young people face we offer expert advice to navigate them through the asylum system and aid their integration into their new environment. We create an environment which is conducive to UASC young people, establishing safe networks that enables them to deal with the traumas they may have faced on their journey into the country. With our therapeutic and nurturing approach, UASC young people gain the stability and security they have been seeking, allowing them to invest in their placements emotionally and practically.
With the support of our diverse, passionate and caring staff, who come with a depth of knowledge and experience of working with UASC young people, all our UASC young people feel exceptional welcomed and accepted, we build a firm base for them, ensuring via our own use of translation and mentoring services they thoroughly understand where and why they have been placed with us. We have bespoke translated documents to support this, understand their culture, language and identity which sets a strong understanding for them from the onset, leading to pathways where they can believe in a bright, positive and purposeful future.
